The transcripts are from non-standardised online interview with participants. The methodology was informed by a 'Gadamer-inspired hermeneutic' system using four stages or 'turns' of interpretation: The Listening Turn, The Reading Turn, The Observation Turn and the Fusion of Horizons. The participants were part of a study group working on a theatre production at my university. They were randomly selected, not by myself, but by the undergraduate course academic team who I was collaborating with on the research study. There were eight participants but two of the participants were interviewed together for logistical reasons and consequently there are seven transcripts. The length of each interview varies from thirty minutes to two hours. One interview was conducted in person. The remaining participants, a combination of students and professionals were interviewed online via the Zoom platform because the study was still affected by pandemic restrictions and it was expedient and sensible to conform with the relevant protocols. WH and AG are professional workers and EB,EJ,KH, FA, CDAS and MF were all student participants.
