Qualitative data in the form of semi-structured interviews and multi-stakeholder focus groups discussions (FGDs) were collected with relevant stakeholders in each the three locations over a three-month period. Ethical approval for the study was obtained from Bournemouth University (ethics reference 37431). Following Wager et al. (2013), to reduce bias in the interviews as much as possible, respondents were reassured that their names and responses would remain anonymous within any research outputs. Each interviewee / focus group was given a code (e.g. interviewee 1 = I1 / focus group 1 = FG1), which was used instead of their name to ensure anonymity.
