The research undertaken adhered to BU’s Research Ethics Code of Practice. (Ethics checklist Id: 16851).

All data collected during the study was stored in both hard copies and electronic forms with only a participant number attached so that no one can be identified.   Quotations, if used, were carefully edited to ensure that no personal identification could be made and any photographs were pixelated to remove facial detail and any personal information that might identify participants.  

All data will be securely stored at the Bournemouth University on a password protected secure network. All data and all information gathered will be kept for a minimum period of 5 years in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988.
