Catchment_area
Tributary in which the experimental site was located

Treatment	
Assignation to one of the 4 experimental treatments or as a ‘Hotspot’ survey

Site_length_m	
Instream length (m) of the experimental site

Displacement_to_nearest_LDR_site_m	
Instream distance (m) between the experimental site and the nearest site assigned to the ‘LDR’ 
treatment group (upstream distances are given as negative values)

Nearest_LDR_site
Site ID for the nearest site assigned to the ‘LDR’ treatment group

Density (fish m-2) of Atlantic salmon fry recorded in the electrofishing survey conducted prior to
