The Digital Dead – README
The supplemental data and research data presented here is associated with the PhD thesis The Digital Dead: Virtual Modelling of Human Remains using Photogrammetry for Presentation and Preservation by Record. 
This work was completed by Heather M Tamminen between 2018 and 2022 during a funding PhD (BU and Dorset Museum) and was supervised by Martin J Smith, Kate Welham, and Andrew Ford.
All research data is embargoed at the time of deposition for two years (approved). Beyond that all research data is BY REQUEST ONLY due to the ethical concerns around human remains. Please contact BU’s Human Osteology Team if the information is requested (Smith, Rennie, and Delbarre as of April 2022).
The Excel files contain README sheets with specific information to that file. All AI files are interactive, and thus left as AI files (in compatibility format), but the images have been exported as JPEGs as well. 
The files titled “TamminenSupplementary…” are cross-referenced in the thesis itself.

The point clouds and RAW images are not deposited in BORDaR due to space restrictions. An appropriate location for storage is being looked for (as of April 2022).
All data was collected by HMT and all line drawings were created by HMT. Generally, skeleton numbers are denoted in regular typeset and skull numbers are italicised.
