The dataset relates to an exploration of the empirical literature on corporate reporting on the sustainable development goals. The data was collected using a keyword search on Scopus, Web of Science, and EBSCO Host. 65 empirical papers on corporate SDGs reporting were identified and analysed for the purpose of understanding the prevailing literature on corporate reporting on the SDGs and how future research can advance this field further
