Data collection method:

Semi-structured interviews mostly held online (SARS-COVID 19 pandemic lockdown and other restrictions). Individual transcripts indicate if interviews were held online using MS Teams. Participants were selected by their current roles as practitioners in a CJLD police partnership. They included Custody Police Sergeants, Police Detention Officers and 'practioner and support staff' from an NHS led 'Liaison and Diversion team.'

Gender-neutral pseudonyms are used to protect the identity of the interviewees.
